It is a very pleasant feature for the 9m header, it is good to have it on the 10.7m one, and for the 12.3m one it is a “MUST HAVE”.  We are speaking about the rear axle steering on the header trailer. Let’s look at the BISO ProfiSteer trailer for big headers and comfortable drive. How does it work? 

The traffic control on field becomes strategic in the modern farming to reduce the soil compaction and increase the efficiency. The machineries become bigger and bigger and their performances too: nowadays are available 18 meters seeders and 36 meters sprayers. Those equipments are used in areas with big fields with the purpose to increase the field work efficiency and to reduce the soil compaction by using the same path for the different working phases (seeding, spraying, harvesting, etc.). This approach is becoming popular in Western Australia where the possibility to work on multiple of 18 meters is strategic since it will reduce by half the current wheeled area. The main constraints to reach the multiple of 18 meters working width was standing on the following aspects:

• Cutting tables for combine harvesters could reach a maximum of 13.7 meters;
• Uniform straw spreading on headers larger than 12 meters was not possible;
• Combine unloading with headers wider than 13.7 meters was difficult.

An efficient and relaxed harvest begins with the premium header. Premiums will include models that can harvest not only cereals, rape or soybeans, but also laid wheat or barley in the FLEX mode, even in shots over 9m. And all this with a precise cut at the required height in every situation.

The German national agricultural company DLG awarded us a silver medal for the BISO 3D VARIOFLEX AIR i header on the occasion of the upcoming AGRITECHNICA HANNOVER 2019 exhibition.

We have been working on the new 3D generation header for many years. We have had several developmental generations and based on detailed analyses, many tests and measurements, we and our customers have come to the conclusion that the future is a combination of intake auger, VARIO system and FLEX cutting deck module.

Did you know that in the picturesque town of Ort im Innkreis, BISO Schrattenecker has taken another step forward, as it has in its slogan? Yes, that's right, and maybe you can say up to three extra steps. Sure, it may sound a bit like praise in my words, but it's not so. The independent German institute DLG itself rewarded us for these three steps, and we are proud of it. It is not a rule that small factories are awarded at prestigious international agricultural exhibitions such as Agritechnica 2009 in Hanover. However, we managed it last year again.
